The calendar feature has been updated and now includes weekday team rides. The weekday rides will have one or two husky cycling officers leading them. Coach Galen has recommended that new and returning racers continue with base miles until the end of January–slow and steady rides with attention to on the bike posture, breathing, and cadence. The more slow riding you get in, the better your aerobic capacity, meaning you’ll be able to train harder and become faster as the collegiate season progresses. At least that’s the gist of it.
