As a new addition this year, Husky Cycling now offers group rides and benefits specifically targeting mountain bikers!! The primary focus on the group rides is skill development for recreation and racing. All riders interested in riding off road are welcome regardless of skill level.

Regular group rides will be held throughout the year at various locations including the Colonnade and other local trails. Early in the year, rides will focus on skill development and strength and become progressively more difficult and intense through spring and toward the racing season. Carpools will be available to some of the more remote trails. If you are interested in racing, Husky Cycling is a registered NORBA club so you can participate in any NORBA race as a Husky.

If you are new to area and are unfamiliar with the local trail system, a great site to get you started is the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance http://evergreenmtb.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page It has trail maps, descriptions, and ratings that will help you find new rides.

If you have not yet joined the team, your are missing out on the many benefits including shop discounts, supplies, and transportation to collegiate events! If you are not already a member of the email list, make sure you subscribe to stay up to date on group rides and benefits.
